Vocabulary

1. Hubris P.63- (noun) excessive pride or self-confidence.

Own logic - hubris i learned from reading one of my books.

His hubris prevented him from taking the necessary precautions for his mission.

2. Futile P.69 - (adjective) incapable of producing any result.

Own logic - i also learned this word from one of my books.

The student knew cheating was futile on under the teachers watch.

3. Unrelenting P. 67- (adjective) not easing or slackening in severity

Own logic - never giving up means just the same, thats how i knew about the word.

As the mailman came to the door, my dog was unrelenting on tyring to bite his head off.
